What started as just an idea from a frustrated Corporate Trainer almost 20 years ago, has now grown into the #1 Automotive Recruiting team in the country! Meet Our Executive Team
Dan Leckrone
President
Mr. Leckrone began his career as a Flight Instructor in the Navy where he trained more than 500 pilots. Upon completion of service he entered the auto industry, where he held every position within a dealership. He continued his skill as the Corporate Sales Trainer for Asbury Automotive Group where he trained over 10,000 salespeople. He now owns Top Gun Training Group, where his goal is to share the skills that he has been blessed with to help others successfully navigate a career in the auto industry.
Preston Brooks
Executive Vice-President
Preston has been member of our Top Gun team for almost 10 years. He started as a Junior Recruiter and has worked his way up to his current position of Executive VP. He has been in the auto industry for over 2 decades, and knows the business very well. Preston is a proud husband and Father to 4 amazing sons, and 3 beautiful daughters. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys reading and personal development. As Executive VP, Preston is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Top Gun Training Group. Rod Heasley
Director of National Sales & Dealer Relations
Rod began his career in the auto industry in recon, and worked his way up through the ranks until he became a dealer principal. After leaving the retail side, he founded KISS Concepts Group. His passions include writing, training, and public speaking. Rod comes to Top Gun with a wealth of knowledge in training, and serves as our Lead Trainer for "Green Pea University."
